This letter puts forth the problem's data with wonderful clearity, and foresees the future. The same confusing definition will nevertheless be noted which I have already pointed out [elsewhere] about the role of the Language Committee. While Boirac claimed at the Geneva Congress..., that it had only advisory power, Zamenhof attributes to it the right to make decisions. This important disgreement about the power of such an essential organism comes from the disordered and inexact manner in which it was created -- and it was to have the important consequence that Zamenhof, sometimes withdrawing behind the L.K., sometimes making his own decisions in its name, would give the Delegation Committee the impression that he was playing some sort of game of hide-and-seek, and a pretext for accusing him of disloyalty.
